If anyone isn’t sure what to do or who to go, try him and you will see my point.Original work schedule was delayed because the shower was dripping. Martin and his business was very accessible in helping me understand what needed to be done before the tub work could begin, and very considerate in rescheduling. Over the last couple of weeks, I contacted many contractors for various service needs, I found this experience to be exceptional.I wish I could post a picture of the refinish tub. Damages, marks and discoloration are all gone, spotless. And they did not charge a premium price, instead, they offered a 30 year warranty. There are many contractors who do this, but if you can get on their calendar, book it first. They can and will address your concerns, but it may not be easy to find their availability. I wish they offer other services. -

I’ve been in construction business for over 40 years. We been using multiple bathtub refinishers over the years some of them been good or acceptable quality. With chip repair most of them always … More say it’s impossible to match color 100%. Repairs always been noticeable or they recommend to reglaze entire tub for better results (more money out of my wallet ). About 7-8 months ago I hired AK Refinishing to fix the chip on a tub. ( The guys I’ve been using last 4 years were busy and couldn’t accommodate me in timely manner).Man I was speechless when Martin was done with the repair. It was impossible to even tell where the repair was done. Color match 100%!!! Tub wasn’t even white it had a little grey tone in it. So far they’ve done multiple chip repairs and regalzed 3 tub for us. Their quality is highest I’ve ever seen. Every repair and reglazing has been perfect. They should advertise them self as a chip repair specialists. I can say with confidence AK is one of the best bathtub refinisher in DC Metro area by service and quality. -

First, Henry's work was exceptional in correcting a previous company's work on reglazing my tub. His work was top of the line and he finished in less than 4 hours which included … More removing the previous companies attempt (4 visits/23 hours). Second, Martin was called a couple weeks later to remove a minor flaw in the tub. He was very professional, customer centered, and completed his work in fifteen minutes. Thanks to you both for a superb job. The tub looks brand new! I would use these guys again and highly recommend their services. -

Our tubs were absolutely transformed - and the cost was a fraction of what it would have … More cost to replace them. Martin's technical abilities are amazing, and his work ethic is unsurpassed. Krista ensured the communication before during and after was excellent. And - there was immediate follow up to ensure we were happy with the end product. If you need your tubs refinished, look no further. Not only is A and K comprised of hard working, technically proficient and honest people, but they are also really nice. A+!
